  This company will happily take your money knowing full well that they can't deliver. No stock stored in Australia and everything just shipped out of China. There is no contingency in place for shipping issues (Covid 19 etc) so if you buy from here be prepared to wait 6+ months and being told there is nothing they can do.
  If you request a refund be prepared to wait some more as they can't refund in store and you have to wait for a call from the "finance team" which won't happen until you follow it up and call them first.
  
  We were invited to go look at the clearance outlet which had damaged and dirty furniture. We asked the sales rep if they would clean the dirt off the lounge if we bought it and they said no but they do sell cleaning wipes which they had on a shelf behind the counter.
  
  Terrible company.

  Placed a deposit on a table in August, went in to pay balance and noticed it was $100 cheaper. Manager refused to honour the price due to “head office”. Haven’t had delivery of item so don’t see why they can’t just take $100 off the outstanding balance. Won’t buy anything from here again

  First and last time I'll ever buy from Nick Scali.
  
  Looking at other reviews everyone has had a similar problem. We ordered our couch early November 2020, due to arrive end late Jan early Feb 2021. We visited the store at the end of January to check our order and they told us it had been delayed until mid February, annoying but we can handle sitting on the floor for a week or so. A week later we are in our new house, and we get a poorly worded text message saying it has been delayed until mid March.
  
  We called the store and spoke to multiple people, the manager tried to mention how it was minuscule compared to how his partner's mother died and they couldn't go to the funeral - what does that have to do with anything? We ordered a couch, COVID was around when we ordered it so you cant blame that, we had a delivery timeframe which they have not met and the only solution they could provide is a $100 store credit? I'm not going to use that. Last time I'll ever buy anything from there.

  I'd give this company no stars if I could! My partner and I purchased 4 pieces of furniture on the 26/09/2020 on 3 separate orders as some had different expected delivery time frames.
  
  We were told by securing our furniture with a deposit that day we would be securing "current stock" so the expected delivery dates were reassured with the exception of a possible 2 week delay.
  
  The first item was our dining table which was expected on the 23/10/2020 which came as anticipated.
  
  The second and third was our buffet and tv unit for 24/11/2020 which has still not arrived (it is currently the 28/12/2020 well past the 2 week delay with no confirmed delivery date).
  
  The fourth is our lounge 9 -11 weeks so the latest expected date being 12/12/2020 and yet again we are past the 2 week delay and still do not have our lounge OR a confirmed delivery date.
  
  We are quite sick of this company using "COVID-19" as their excuse for the delays when we have purchased other furniture items from other stores and received them within DAYS of the order.
  
  We have tried numerous times calling Nick Scali and we are presented with the same excuses and empty promises of false delivery dates. We have spent over $7,000 on these furniture items and we can't even get confirmation of when we will get our items!! Where is the ownership on your side Nick Scali for your failure to adhere to your side of the contract terms.
  
  I wouldn't recommend Nick Scali to a single friend or relative based on our experience.

  Terrible customer service - Ordered a couch that is "still missing" for over 8months now and they cant even manage a simple refund nor a call a back. Now sending texts pretending they have tried to phone to avoid fixing the issue.Their negligence with the Australian consumer laws is atrocious. Admitting the couch is not in existence nor can be found and I still have to keep chasing this up. I've received better customer service at a BP Station. No better than your average car salesman. Extremely disappointing.
